What do you use to suspend the blade when dipping in acid to etch?

I never thought about this before but I was wondering what people use to hold the blade when they suspend it in their acid tank.

Bailing wire? Twine?

I use fishing line. Outside of materials that might desintegrate in the acid,the only rule I know is don't use copper wire.

Usually a spring clamp on the tang or rebar tie wire (so old there's no oil on it) since I ran out of vinyl coated wire.

I use a rubber line about 1/8”d made to tether duck decoys to an anchor, it’s similar to weed eater line but is more supple and has a bit of stretch to it.
