Hi folks! Just curious what everyone uses their BK2 for. Not interested in what knife i should have bought. I use mine often in the kitchen as well as dispatching chickens. Itstays on my belt daily just incase i find an awesome way to use it lol.

I have a Blackjack BK2 that just sits on her throne and a Camillus BK2SG stashed in the trunk 'just in case'.

I use it for doing woodsy stuff, and doing stuff making leather look sexy!

I open packages with it. Test my sharpening skills. Dull it with 600 and sharpen it just to stay sharp ha ha. I and a junior bushcrafter so i dable with some feather sticking splitting wood and such. The bk2 can almost do anything. From opening mail and packages to battoning 4" logs nothing can stop it.

Mine is a every day companion, most the time in my lunch box, so I can keep it handy, since chopping fruit to cut whatever I need to

It's a multi-tool. I've used mine for all sorts of things including:

Man has to have some kind of way to cut up his all Beef Hot Dogs and it was either the #2 or a Fillet Knife ~~ will use the Fillet Knife after the #2 gets dull.! Next week.**

Liberating a motor from a '76 caddy.

Actually that hasn't happened Yet, but I use mine for general harder use tasks.

Prying, digging and general obtaining of fatwood from stumps, processing firewood in the yard when I don't want to grab my 4. Basically anything that I am unsure of some of my other knives standing up to.

Keep in mind, I was recently out without my 2 and only had my JK Knives Canadian belt knife on me when I stumbled across two Very nice and dead stumps with a fatwood core about 2"-3" in diameter.
Since John told me "I won't break it!" I took him to task, and beat the hell out of my CBK for about an hour and a half with the sole mindset of seeing if it was as good as he led on.
It held up just fine and didn't bat an eye at the abuse, I was expecting it to give any second though it never seemed like it would. While it wouldn't shave afterwards, it still would slice a magazine page.

To this day, the JK CBK is the Only knife would go to if I don't have my BK2 handy.

But that is my point, the Whole time I wanted my BK2. If for no other reason than I knew how tortuous the task was and I knew the BK2 could take it.

Though I will Never doubt the capabilities of my JK Knives, The peace of mind that the BK2 instills is worth it's weight in Gold 10 times over.

GK skinning a squirel with the bk2 seems almost impossible but fun to try. Guess if successful with the 2 ill try the 9 as well lol

Ive beaten mine up pretty well chopping, prying, and battoning. Its more than proved its abilities. It now resides in my jeep awaiting further commands.

Destroying structures...

Nothing more than chopping and some slicing. Haven't tried to destroy it. Haven't tried prying. Haven't really tested it just to do it. Really just mundane knify stuff. I'm not so inclined to go out and set up a bunch of stuff. Just pull it out and use it as the need arises.
I freakin love it tho... So much that I picked up a roll stamped back up, leather scout sheath and a leather dangler...pics to come tomorrow.

It's tomorrow! Can't wait to see your new additions brutha

Ahh yeah, thanks for reminding me!
They're not new...
The etched was my first Becker, about 3 years old...the roll stamped and sheaths I've had for a few months.

The scout is great, both are pretty thick and have a very nice snap when inserted. But...I should have looked closer, the dangler is a lefty. I may be able to fix it to a right, but as a friend said...sometimes its good to have a lefty for off hand use if needed or when carrying multiples. I might can work with that.
Like when you need your dominant hand for holding something or whatever tthen you need your Blade...
We'll see...

Another thought is to make a dangler attachment for the scout.
