What do you want for Father's Day?

I'm likely going to ask for a ZT 0550. However, Blade Show 2012 will wrap up just in time for Father's Day, so I'm not committing to the 0550 quite yet. I want to see the 3 new ZT's Kershaw is bringing to the table.

What are you fathers asking for this year?

What about mommas out there? What'd you get this year?

On Father's Day, I try to concentrate on those things for which I am thankful - Mrs. Powernoodle, the Power Juniors (ages 14 and 11), my health and the fact that I have a roof over my head. These are things we should do everyday, but Father's Day is an especially good time to do it. If you get yourself in the proper state of mind, anything else like a card or a gift is just a bonus.

As for knives, I am pretty lucky to be able to buy what I want, and when I want it, so I usually ask for something personalized from my offspring - like a card or mug.

The same thing my Dad always asked for, peace and quiet :D. Oddly enough I'm not looking for anything in particular right now. Lately I've been interested in older slip joints, hunting knives and axes - Marbles in particular. Those blades are not exactly what I would send the family down to the local hardware store to buy.

last year my daughter made me a hanger for my ties... it says "I Love You Daddy" in glitter on the side. It's probably one of the things i'd grab if my house caught on fire...

This year she's 10, so i'm expecting her to step up her game... either a mug, or a F150 supercrew... either one would be great

I'm actually a new poppa as of October 2011, so this is my first Father's Day as a father. The little one is too young for cards and crafts now, so I'll stick to asking the Mrs. for a 0550.

Although, I wouldn't be upset about getting a F150 Supercrew either.

CRK of my choice.

Since that won't happen i'll settle for something better. Like a few hugs from the kids.
