Hello everyone,

just a short question: I have this 118V marking on a UKPK blade, I searched already with google but still no clue about what this could stand for...

Thanks beforehand for any enlightment ;)

That is a Collectors Club knife in a variation (V in this case stands for variant of course). Take a look at spydiewiki.com to find out more. Each member of the Collectors Club has a number, so you have a UKPK from member No. 118 in a variant so it is not the standard model.

Some knife stores have collectors numbers so you can buy a new knife from a knife store and find it has a collectors number. It doesn't mean there's funny business going on.

Correct. That's probably the most common case, although there are other possibilities as well. At least in the past, some store allowed an "all variants" collector to pass on knives he didn't want, or leave them at the store on consignment.

Thank you all for your knowledgeable replies, as a matter of fact this UKPK looks absolutely like a standard version, except for the 118V markings. I learned something today, I like it.
Best regards from Germany!
