Besides weight, what is the benefit of carbon fiber?
I'm not sure if I'm a fan of it or not.
It would be nice if it were a bit grippier, but I have that complaint about most knives. I like it when I grab a knife/tool, and it feels like it's grabbing me back. It's one of the things I love about the ZT 301 and 121. Very solid to hold - no slippage.

Actually the Sage and GB use the same CF I believe. There is a mild texture (the weave of the carbon fiber). It's not grippy like G10, but it does provide more purchase than say a stainless steel handle.![]()
