When the word "fusion" appears in the name of a Busse knife, what exactly does it mean? All I could find was this from the "Busse Help Site - Acronyms, Porn Links, and Definitions" thread, and it's not terribly enlightening:

"F - fusion (meant to be a handle designation, but often misused to designate the new line of knives)"

They Fused the design of the Birds Beak, Straight Handle, and the Ergo handle together to get the Fusion handle.

Put these three together

And you get the top one in this pic.

The Straight Handled Steel Heart is still my all-time favorite... but the Heavy Ordnance Grade Fusion Steel Heart is a beast, and making progress...

I like the Fusion handle - feels faintly sword-like, in a control aspect. You feel like part of the blade, something I only feel with the SHSH, and the Fusion... the ergo does not give me the same feedback.

Just my opinion and experience so far. Part of the journey is trying them out for yourself.

Best regards,

John

Needs more research!!
