Will a version of this knife be released again, it looks to be the perfect all around knife to me. If not, what are these going for on the after maket.

heavy heart fusion steel heart. don't know if they'll be offered again, but they go for around 500-600

The HHFSH is certainly a superb knife. It's my go-to heavy most of the time and would be my 'one knife' if I could only have one. They do come up on occasion so keep your eyes peeled.

The FSH is a bit lighter. I haven't tried one but I think the weight and balance of the HHFSH with magnum micarta scales is perfect. For me anyway.

Two HH's with a couple of FSH's.

You can find very similar performance in the equally scarce standard FSH's and the HOGFSH's.

I used to have a HHFSH, but due to some stressful financial situations a couple of years ago I had to sell it.

Selling my HHFSH was probably the most regretted sale I have made.

The HHFSH was/is AWESOME, but a heavy knife.

I was able to score a regular FSH with regular scales and full-height flat grind recently. Personally, I probably actually prefer my full height flat grind regular FSH due to it's (IMO) improved versatility.

The regular FSH won't be quite as good a chopper, but still VERY good and more potential as a good all-around knife that is much easier to carry with less weight.

While the HHFSH was just freaking awesome to hold in the hand, the regular FSH is almost as awesome, but with a better feel, balance and agility - IMO.

I would have never considered my HHFSH as an all-arounder. To me, the HHFSH is a dedicated chopper and is outclased by the longer and similar weighted FBM (IMO).

I wouldn't have thought I would consider the regular FSH an all-arounder. It is still fairly large. But, the balance and feel puts it in contention with the versatility of my two favorite versatile camp knives: SarSquatch and Camp Tramp. But, the FSH is still significantly larger and whoops both easily for chopping.

I should clarify "all-arounder". I don't personally feel there is such a thing as a one knife does it all. Far and away my most used and most versatile knives have about 4" blades or so. But, that size won't chop and do certain larger tasks.
So, if I "HAD" to be with one knife, I would lean towards a little larger like a Ratmandu, SJTAC, NOe, Skinny Ash, Camp Tramp or SarSquatch (excellent examples and choices of various "Mid"sized knives - IMO).
But, I am really more of a "2" knife guy. So, if I am going to have a 4" blade on me, I might as well have my second knife be good at chopping. But, I don't tend to like carrying overly heavy blades. I consider the FBM and HHFSH fairly heavy to lug around. I would generally say the SarSquatch has been my best balance for my preferences with versatility and weight. But, the regular FSH is a real contender to pair up with a smaller knife even if heavier.

I would say the Chopweiler is a more fair contender to the FSH and I have also always liked my Chopweiler. But, again, the FSH is just a little bigger with just a little bit more chopping power. And in this case, I actually think the FSH is just a little better balanced and nicer feeling in the hand for camp/chore tasks over the Chopweiler.

This balance and versatility makes me lean towards the regular FSH.

For the record, there have been MANY variations of the Steel Heart over the years and even quite a few variations of the FSH (Fusion Steel Heart).

The regular FSH came in both Saber and Full-Height flat grind - both at .25" thick.
I don't have weights readily available, but the Saber grind should weigh a little more than the full-height flat grind.

Then there are:

HHFSH at .27"

HOGFSH at .312"

(* edit to add): FSH SE 2007 at 0.319"

And

MOASH (Mother of All Steel Hearts) at .345" THICK!!!! ... No doubt the MOASH is awesome, but I imagine it is an awesome "Anchor"! / Sledge! - who needs to "cut" down trees when you can just knock them down. ;)

Does anyone know if another version will be released? I want to grab one, but dont see any for sale all that often. I just bought my first Busse knife, but im already ready for another. I bought the FFBM to use as a chopper. I want a small skelaton GW to use on the piggyback, and I want one of the steel hearts too.

Here's a family photo, albeit a poor one, of a few of the varieties mentioned:

While the MOASH might be heavy, Jerry lightened the blade along the spine on the Nuclear versions to feel much better (maybe perfect?) in the hand.

Really? There were two versions at 0.25"?

My FSH at 0.242" is in between Sabre and Flat with a nice Convex grind straight from the Factory. It also has the Sheel Heart Ergo logo. :D It is definitely one of my favorites.
