What does "Hogtied" on the BCS mean?

I was under the impression that it meant they are in stock but sitting in someone's cart.

It looks to me as if the items are being removed from the list entirely if they are out of stock. Note that there is only 1 Battle Mistress listed, where there were 3 or 4 different models a few days ago. Given this I think hogtied means it is sitting in someone's cart.

But to answer the question: who knows? There seems to be a trend of someone, or actually numerous someones, going around the store just stuffing things in their cart and keeping them there without checking out for obscene times.

There really needs to be a time limit set on the carts. After X number of minutes the cart is automatically emptied.

I'm pretty sure that there IS a time limit... 10 or 15 minutes, I thought. But, I believe some have found a way around this somehow... Not cool to mess with another's income by sitting on inventory in their Store...
