what does it mean??

I've got a few symbols on my khuk that have been nagging at my curiosity. There are the initials U.B. (kami ?) some nepalese writing I can't begin to describe, a star similar to a star of david, and a sun similar to that on the New Mexico state flag. I'm sure someone here knows what these all mean. Thanks.

U.B. are the initials of Bill Martino, affectionately known as Uncle Bill, who helped get HI off the ground in the late 80's. He and Yangdu ran the US side of the operation until he passed away in 2005. His last request was that his initials be carved onto each blade HI makes. As for the star, that's the mark of the kami that made your blade, and the Nepalese characters are Devangari for "HI".
