I've cut wood, cardboard, 2-ply cardboard, bedliner, etc. Also carried it in a tool-belt with screws and a metal-handled sheetrock knife. Dropped it on pavement too. (Ouch)
No scratches, and let me tell you what, bedliner is some TOUGH stuff to cut. Like stand-on-the-handle kinda tough. (ZT 0200)
In fact, the only actual mark on it is from my sharpmaker. A couple hairline scratches near the tip from a soda can. And I mean hairline.
And I've seen pictures of knives with DLC on here with wear and bare-spots.
What the heck have you been cutting!? Bricks and 10-grit sandpaper!?
But seriously, its super strong. I've never had a knife with DLC before. Its all been teflon. (Which sucks)
Im not saying that I want scratches. Its actually pretty cool to me how tough it is.
Does it take really abrasive materials or just use over time?
Both?
Pictures?
Anybody on here smarter than me to tell me how it's applied to the blade or what it actually is?
