What does "Kopa" mean?

Just out of curiousity, what's the meaning of the name for this nice little knife? Got a cocobolo one for myself last week, it's gonna be a keeper.
 
May very well be that, like Manix, it's a "made up" word. These are most probably used either because they make checking for prior use by other companies easier or because there is less possiblity of anyone attaching negative significance to them.

I've concluded that "Kopa" means "perfect EDC for an office environment" ... ;)

A Manix is for evenings and weekends...

This is what I first thought of when I heard the name - why did they name it after that cabana song.

Not a micarta one, but I'm shipping my cocobolo one to santa fe stoneworks today for a custom inlaid :D About 3+ weeks I'll have to get some pics up.

cool, boxer, what material and for how much do they charge for working on the kopa? u don't like the cocobolo?

Dave, I have a standing order in with NGK for all the flavors on these, with Sal hinting that number may be a dozen and a half or more, I may need to build a Kopa cabana. :D
