woah, what a rip off. I would trip my own 95 year grandma down a flight of concrete steps to snag a real AD for that price, but the only reason I would bend over to pick that copied piece of crap up would be to destroy it.

At least Camillus is "preserving the environment by using a material that regenerates quickly." (Insert a few of those special smilies.)
 
I could only believe they licensed the design from Busse; otherwise a blatant copy IMO.
 
So, can you really chop another knife in half with a FBM?? If so, I think I need to buy an FBM and a couple of those rip-offs, that would be a cool party trick.

You know what they say: Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. Don't be so hard on this knife or its makers, they clearly appreciate Busse as much as we do. ;)
And it's not as if it competes in any way!

Sorry, but I don't agree with you. Imitation is one thing, stealing someone elses designs is another.:thumbdn:
 
Knife makers borrow from each others designs often,
but Camillus is trying to capitalize on the Busse reputation to sell it's product...
 
Yeah that's not imitation flattery, that's outright ripoff.

IMHO it's completely disrespectful and sleazy when someone blatantly copies another person's design. Shame on whoever bought up the Camillus name for sullying a name with that much history with a cheap knockoff.
 
Pisses me off actually. Thats my fav small knife and I hate to see it sullied by a blatant crappy ripoff.:mad::barf:

Thanks Steelnut, I had actually seen that before, I guess I was thinking actually just laying the knife on a table or something and chopping through it. Wonder if that would work? Probably wouldn't be safe if it was not locked in a vise though.
