A friend of mine is a writer for Police Magazine and gets a lot of SWAG. I was telling him about my qwest to get a PM2 so he gave me this. At first I thought it was either a Military or PM1 but there is no lanyard hole. Both sides have tip up or tip down holes. For size I put it next to my Pacific Salt on the left. It's a nice knife and will definitely hold me over until my PM2 gets here. Steel is satin V8-10. Can any of you Spyderco aficionados identify this knife? Thanks

I think your answer is in your question. I could be wrong, but I think that's a G10 Police. (VG 10)
 
Thanks, makes sense. I didn't know there was a G10 Police model, thought they all had stainless grips.
 
I have no idea how thick it is. I'm not even sure how to measure the length correctly.

ETA Spyderco site says 3mm thick.

Measuring the thickness of the blade should be done across the spine, like you would measure the thickness of a book. Measuring the length of the blade or e knife overall is from tip to the heel (like you would measure a shoe). Common sense ;).
 
Yep Police 3, measurements check out. Nice knife but I think the PM2 will be a better EDC for me.
