Wow. Where's that drooling smilie? I didn't realize Barry Hands also does his signature gold leaves inlay on stag now- I've only seen it on pearl before.

WOW! I'm speechless seeing these two. They are absolutely beautiful! I wish that I could see them in person, to truly appreciate the time and effort that went into creating them. Thank you for sharing these pics with me / us!

I've been missing your posts, Dave!

Two beauties Dave.. Your photos of past and present pieces from your collection are always posts I look forward to... Have a nice weekend...

Best Regards, Rich Slaughter

Everyone must be smarter than me.

Who's knife is the pearl? Barry Davis? Kaj Embretsen? Jim Schmidt? All have made similar.

Thanks!

I always enjoy your posts Dave!

The Lake piece is outstanding. This model appeals to me and of course I love stag, especially when part of such an elegant knife. Stag being an "earthy material" works so well IMO when expertly combined with such dynamic and elegant design components. And I'm absolutely crazy about Barry's work.

I will be the 'odd man out here' in regard to the Schmidt folder. I'm a big fan of the illusion of optimal blade to handle ratios in folders and the handle appears to seriously overpower the blade (at least to my eye) on this piece.

Kevin -- I could live with it but then again, as suggested, all I can do is, as the Everly Bros. so eloquently said many years ago, "all I have to do is dream, dream dream" as it is unlikely I will win the lottery.
