I just got a PM2 Digi-camo, and it's amazing. I just got my discount code for registering. Can anyone recommend other Spyderco products I should look into to enjoy this savings? :D
 
Sage 1 & 2. Or if you want something to beat on a little more the Gayle Bradly.
 
I hear ya magoula! The para is great, I just got mine the other day and am really satisfied with it. Im a big fan of the Manix 2 and caly 3 as well. If you find a caly 3 at a decent price you wont be dissapointed. They dont make them anymore either and it's a perfect little gents knife to complement you worker para 2 :)
 
Looks like they still sell the Caly 3 and 3.5 on their site. I'll have to take a look at those too :)
 
Man, after watching some videos and looking at those knives, I am dying to get that Spyderco Lum Chinese Carbon Fiber. It looks absolutely GORGEOUS! I'd get that almost as a collector's item, or something to take with me when I need a nicer looking knife instead of an EDC workhorse.

Anyone have any experience with one of them that can add their opinion?

It's an absolutely beautiful knife with clean lines and is the smoothest opening folder I have ever owned. Im a big fan of teflon washers on gents knives too. Blade shape is great as well. The nishijn isn't actually carbon fiber but its similar. Its made through some proprietary process to get the cool weave pattern and is more or less glass with carbon strands in it (I think?) My only qualm with the scales is they are very glossy and smooth. They will no doubt reveal scratches very easily and can be slick in sweaty hands. In a pair of slacks I think it works pretty well.

edit: Personally I want the Ti one...BADLY :cool:
 
You'll have to let me know how it is when you get it! You convinced me that I *NEED* this Lum, so I put in the order at gpknives (40% off =O <3). So excited!
 
Im sure you will enjoy it very much! They weave pattern is mesmerising, I remember just staring at it when I first got it. As for me, it'll be a while before the Ti one comes my way. They are harder to find now and I just used up all my funds on an orange para 2 :D
 
The cost on gpknives is 40% less than the price list on Spyderco's site :) Sorry if I was insanely confusing thinking I got 40% off the already 40% off gpknives is set to!
 
Man....you got me excited. I was about to go on the most serious buying binge ever.
 
I wish I could! If I had money like that, I'd get every person on the forums the knife of their choice from gpknives on me. Pray I win the lotto and that might just come true!

You are in my prayers my good man [or woman]. Back on topic, I think a Meerkat would be a great addition to any collection.
 
The meerkat is awesome and I can't wait for my preorder to get filled. I am a sucker for unique knives and look forward to handing my meerkat to someone and have them turn it over and look at it every which way trying to figure out how to close it.
