What new knives do you guys want to see come out of the JK shop? Any suggestions or ideas will be considered. I've got a couple ideas, but can always use more.

Well......since you asked......I'd like to get the model that you have in your sig line, but I've never seen it on your website. I don't know if it was a one of a kind or a discontinued model, but I've wanted to get one since I first saw it.

That's the Modern Bowie XD XT. Those are expensive to make, so since there was little interest for a $375 knife, I took it off the website. I still have the pattern, the only difference is I no longer used flared tubes for the pins.

Something ive had in my head for awhile is a 'Kommando Kephart'.
I see the commando blade with kephart top and bottom hand guards...
Of course the deminsionsof the blade and handle could be tweaked either way.

Maybe a swedged spear point to keep with the kephart style, and a slimmer handle to fit the fighting style...

Just thinking out loud.

Maybe the smaller version of that knife would appeal to you - not speaking for John, but it should be considerably cheaper than the big dog -

If you feel like it, here is a link to my XD series pictures -

The biggest and baddest does not come cheap - the XD XT is akin to a Busse, that was the idea I had, and John nailed it.

I bet Jerry Busse and John Kiedaisch would have a good time shooting the breeze and showing off knives.

I like the smaller XD without the swedge. And my recent post about the Pocket Scandi...it's such an excellent knife, with a small yet hand filling handle and a great sheath. I think anyone would like it.

Thanks for the link. I like them both a lot. Going to have to send JK an email in the near future. I have a birthday coming up and I think I know what to get myself!

Liner locks! ;) That one you showed us was great!

I kept meaning to ask, have you ever thought about a slipjoint? A JK sodbuster Jr sounds pretty sweet to me!
