Fall is here and my favorite time to get out in the woods, camp, pack, hike and watch the trees turn. So which of your collection goes with you into the woods?

In the woods or any where else my Commander is the Emerson I go to.

My A-100. A great camp knife.

Same here.

The A-100 is my folding bushcrafter. Seriously, look at the profile of a Bark River Bushcrafter, Tops Dragonfly, or any other iconic Buschraft knife, there is no other folder that comes as close.

The A-100 works for cutting, food prep, carving, or whatever. The only thing I use my fixed blades for anymore is batoning firewood, the A-100 does everything else, and I don't have to screw around with an extra half pound fixed blade knife on my belt (I keep the fixed blade strapped to my 'pack).

I haven't been to the woods in a while, but if I ever make it out there again my Super Commander would be in my pocket.

evolution80, thore are some nice pictures! Makes me want to go on my fave hike, Mt Tamalpias in Mill Valley.

^just googled it - seems like a nice area - cool thing it goes down to the coast! where i live the ground level is 1700ft :D

I always got my la Griffe but in the woods I go for 1 of my fixed blades I do have my cqc-8 but in the woods I usually go with fixed blades. I feel guilty! Also my cqc-8 is od green scales and black blade to match my glock g27 with od frame and black slide.....so as you can see I need more Emerson's !
