I'm looking for an epoxy to use to attach knife scales to the tang. what do you use/swear by/recommend?

I like to use gflex and some kind of mechanical lock to attach scales to the tang. I use acraglas when gluing liners to scales.
My thoughts are that g flex has just the tiniest amount of flex and acraglas dries hard as a rock. I want the scales to be like one piece, even with liners, thus the acraglas. When i attach scales to the tang i like the tiny bit of flex afforded by g flex to account for changes in weather and different rates of heat, etc...

For a hidden tang, i have used both and seen no real difference. Standard acraglas is runnier than the g flex and sometimes that determines which one i use.

G-Flex for me as well. I have used "Blade Bond" from USA knife maker as well.

I'm sure there are one or two other epoxies that are it's equal, but Gflex certainly works very very well and it is what I use.

I alternate between 2 different epoxies, depending on the specific intended application of the blade.
For heavy use pieces, like a chopper, camp knife or machete, I use Devcon 12 hour clear epoxy.
For lighter application blades, like a chef's knife or a skinner, I use BSI 5 minute epoxy.
