for a young guy, chris is very talented! i've missed seeing his WIP threads lately. I know he was busy in school and getting engaged, just wondering if anyone knew where he got off to?

I imagine he's working hard and being a good husband. Chris is a great guy, and definitely has his priorities in order. I'm sure he'll be back when he gets a little free time.

Yup to both and if he's a newlywed I can think of a lot more things more important and fun than hanging out here with us! :D

Chris is fine, and he is still making knives and swords. He is very busy with work, school, and his new bride - Gracie. I'm sure he will be popping his nose back in here when things calm down.

I miss his post also. The kid is super talented.

glad to hear he's still around and doing good work!

i know what it's like to be newly married, and i wish him well with that endeavor as well!

I think he is very talented, and I've told him so. I feel very encouraged for the future of this country when I see a young man display so much talent and interest in constructive and skilled endeavors.

Hey yall!
someone just sent me a link to this thread. and just wanted to know my head is planetary already with the encouragment yall give, and this is making it worse! lol i relaly do appreciate the kind words.

I did take a bit of a sabbatical from knives to tend to my wife (no chore there) and I finished my Co-Op my apprenticeship at NASA Langley's Machine shop started last October '09 and they have been working me hard. i have also been working on motorcycles of late .

took this:

finishing up a cable san mai wakizashi

and playing around with some 1084/w2/15n20 damascus i made in my first take-down knife (i am sure the machining skills will help):

thanks yall!

It is good to see you back. I know how life can take side tracks some times. Looks like some cool projects.
