What ever happened to Heavy Ordinance knives?

Wouldn't it be nice to choose your thickness without having to buy the LE?

So I'd choose the thicker, non-coated w/ tiger (or maybe snake...) I guess I might go dc but it sounds a LOT like an LE..... Now if the price were more similar to CG that would be great but things are what they are....

some people like the standard color scales with the double cut or satin finish. Thats what I like about my SFNO, standard micarta scales and a satin finish. Some people like the finsih because it doesnt smudge the same way the coated ones do. And if no one else noticed many blades are being stripped due to this. As for price? thats not for me to say, it might be closer than the LE.

I love both the double cut and satin finish blades.

If I had had a choice, I would have chosen a coated standard scaled version of the hogfbmle, because I like the thinner scales for balance issues, and would have prefered the cheaper cost of the coating.

Limited options are probably necessary to keep wait times and general shop confusion down to a minimum.
