What ever happened to the necker with the flat tip that was shown back in the day

I think the idea was a mini tac-tool type neck knife and it was the reason the necker sheaths looked the way they did but I havent seen or heard anything about it in along time. So was the idea scrapped or will it be comeing out at Blade ??????
 
I believe that got scrapped in leu of the final Necker design. It was briefly explored as a "modified tanto" on the some of the tweener protos, but got scrapped for the Mini Magnum.
