What exactly is a "Double Cut" blade

Okay, so what is the difference between a Double Cut blade and a Satin Finish blade?

Satin finish is just smooth and naked steel. Sexy!

Double cut is a satin finish after it has been pummeled with beads and such. This compresses the steel a bit at the surface and creates a dull gray finish which is very durable. :thumbup:
