The title says it all brothers and sisters. What extremes have you gone to in order to increase you INFI?

Trading insane amounts of "other" knives to get one or two pieces of INFI, and or, selling INFI to buy other INFI. Its a vicious cylcle I tell ya!

Ditto! Have sold and traded so many knives lately to increase my collection of wants and must haves, that it's borderline insane! I actually joined Ebay to do this for just one knife. Yeah it sold.... used that money nd more from other knives to buy a fatty SHSH! Man what a great knife. Next up on the list is a fatty SHBA.

I started ebaying to do the same. I sold off every other knife I owned to start buying INFI in earnest. Heck, I sold vintage WW2 Ek fighting knives with original sheaths to make sure I was feeding the habit. I sort of miss those Eks, but I love my Busse knives more.

whats up with this addiction. Are we all doing the same thing? Is there a subliminal messege from Busse making us do this like the popcorn movie adds within commercials.?

I’ve got a beautiful Richmond Ek Model 5 that is, as yet, still safe.

I used to buy, cellar, and eventually drink good red wine, but the cellar is now empty. The wine money has all gone into steel, and a lot of that steel is INFI.

I have been tempted to sell my guns, but I changed my mind and didn't do it. Just recently I almost sold my 1956 winchester 30-30 to get an original Satin SHBM. But I had misgivings and didn't do it for several reasons.

NEVER get rid of that or any old Winchester.. Hide it, and pretend you dont have it, forget about it. You'll be glad later on.

I have never been tempted to sell guns, but i did break into my collection of Basses (bass guitars) and speaker cabitnets to fund some INFI.......how many basses does one guy need anyway?.....I still have 12, but now i have INFI too:D John

I know but it's tempting. and Skunk doesn't help things either.

Drove 8 hours from New York to Ohio to purchase a Battle Mistress from TaulPaul, then came back the following day. I'm sure there are hogs here who can top that.

I killed a man in Reno once....

No wait, I don't own INFI yet.

I had several Richmond Eks, but they didn't do it for me like the WW2 models that guys had used and sharpened the snot out of. That was serious history. I sort of see Busse as the Ek of our generation. John Ek made knives for soldiers, sailors and Marines to use in war. These fighting men used them and used them good. He had a mind for design As evidenced by his guardless handle that made the thing stay put even when you stabbed down hard into something. There is story about that somewhere. He was demostrating the grip for the war department when they voiced concern over the lack of a guard. Any way, to me Busse is much the same. No nonsense tools for the fighting man and use outdoors men too. It doesn't surprise me that I have become addicted to these things.

Great Post and also I don't want Fixer27 to win Jerry's contest with his trolling behavior. Come on everyone join in and ignore Fixer27's post.

And most importantly MERRY CHRISTMAS
