What fixed blade would you carry for everyday if our culture allowed?

I thought it would be interesting to know what fixed blade we might carry if we could wear one on a daily basis and it be no more questioned than what we have been carrying. I really think the Nimravus could be a good choice, but thought I would get the forum's opinion, because I know there are so many good choices. It would be great to have this option no matter what your livelihood. Thanks
Phil

Probably my Chris Reeve Shadow IV in it's custom kydex sheath.Man I love that knife!

I carry my Nimravus, regardless of our culture's "allowances". It is being replaced by a REKAT Pikuni that I have pre-ordered.
I don't need a very large knife for daily carry.

Chris Reeve Shadow IV or Project 1, in a custom Kydex sheath. If in salty environs, maybe a Falllkniven A-1.

Then I woke up and realized that I am not afield as much as I should be or used to be and wear a suit and tie as my uniform of the day. Brings me more to an Aviator or Project III.

Ever get the idea that I like Chris Reeve's One Piece Range knives?

The Vanguard Odyssey by R.J. Martin would be my current choice. My opinion does change quite often. I seem to fall in love with a new knife every few weeks.

I would go with any of Chris reeves great one piece knives. I have heard they are of the same qaulity as the sebenza's and i can tell you i use my small plain everyday.

My carry knife "would" be my Cold Steel Stainless Tanto, in one of Erics' IWB Concealex sheaths.

...IF our "culture" would ALLOW???.

A puukko or a Grohmann or better yet, a custom of similar size.

I get some pleasure from finding a relentlessly peaceful use for a combative looking knife.

But it's not "what our culture will allow."
Rather it is "Where you live" and "who you are."

Oh for the days when a properly attired gentleman carried a large knife, accompanied perhaps by a sword or a brace of pistols.

"I am not, really."

I guess I would be old school and carry one of the Randall made knives. They look so good and are made so well

On my boat I carry a Randall Mod. 15, it's very similar to the BM Nimvarus only of a heavier construction. The only comments I've gotten from LEOs, the Coast Guard etc. is "man what a great knife were can I get one?
So our "culture" seems to say if you are on the water your simply well equipped. On the street that same piece of equipment makes you some sort of dangerous nut.

I would probably keep carrying a folder of some sort. I really prefer folders for carry. They are strong enough for my purposes.

I can and do carry my Simonich/Wegner fixed.

Either one of Bob Dozier's smaller ones, or my Simonich Talonite Cetan. Either would be small enough to carry comfortably, and yet more than capable enough for ANY task.

Man, that would be great!

I would carry any of My Knives

Paracelsus, prevented from carrying most of my knives in most places by mostly stupid laws passed by mostly stupid politicians
