What Gerber is this?

I was given this knife by a friend a while ago. It is a Gerber spear point. Both sides are sharpened and one side is serrated."Design by Blackie Collins" is etched on one side. The other side is stamped "Italy".

I thought it might be a Gerber Frisco Shiv, but it has a "skeletonized" handle with a clip on it to hold it into the sheath. I would post a picture...but I can't figure out how to do that here. I don't have a URL for my photo.

I cannot find information on it anywhere on the web. Does anyone have any info. on this knife?

Gerber did offer a "dive" knife that could be described as you have wrote. Can't remember the model name.

does sound like the "Rivermaster", but i can't recall ever seeing an "italy" stamped anywheres.
