I don't get it, I offered to take my wife and children to the Blade Show in Atlanta on Saturday and then spend Sunday roaming around with them elsewhere. She turned me down!! She said, "What would we do all day at the Blade Show?" I just looked at her. In any case a knife making buddy of mine and I will probably at least day trip the show
on Saturday. It's about a 5 hour trip (one way) from here in Tallahassee so we might actually spend the night at the cheapest motel we can find and hit the show on Sunday also. If I actually go this year I will be looking forward to seeing some of you there.

Hey don't feel bad. It took me two years just to get my wife to say "Hey thats a pretty knife"
She had no interest at all in knives until I started buying stuff she wanted with the knife money! After that she starts asking "When are you going to sell another Bowie, We need so and so..."

Shift in her reality:D

I know what you mean. My wife and I have spent our anniversary at the Montana Knife Show the last 4 years. She doesnt even think its romantic. I cant figure women out.

No kidding. I offered to take my wife this year but she said she'd rather go to her son's wedding! I don't get it. But she does appreciate knives, in fact she's getting one for our anniversary tomorrow, I've been getting up secretly at 3:30 am all week working on it...

But she still won't give up that silly trip to San Francisco for the wedding.

I showed my wife the handle half of a knife that had failed the flex test. She said 'Oh that's beautiful dear' and handed it back. Both she and my daughter seem dedicated to fighting awareness in all its forms.

I don't understand some of these women, why would anyone want to go to a stuffy ol wedding, sit there and cry there eyes out, when they could be having fun, looking and visiting with other knifemakers at the knife show, sounds pretty selfish to me, Dave. :D Tell her there will be someone there taking pictures and they will last forever.

Bruce,
We use fish that size for bait, can't believe you would actually keep something that small, little lone take a picture of it. :D :D

Bill, Thats the biggest bass Ive ever caught 20 inches long. We were steelhead fishing but never got any that day. What are you fishing for?

Bruce,

20" ??? we call that size sardines around these parts. You know if you would straighten that arm out that fish would grow a couple more inches. :D :D :D :D :D :D
