I just learned that Spyderco makes many models that support such good causes in our communities.

Sage-approximetely five percent of sales of the Sage to the National Alzheimer's Association Denver, Colorado chapter.

Blue Delica- National Law Enforcement Memorial Fund as well as the National Museum in D.C.

Pink Native- Breast Cancer

Warrior- Special Operations Warrior Foundation

Chokwe- Keep a Child Alive-an great organization providing help in Africa

They have also donated to saving whales.

I'm sure I missed a few, but what an amazing work ethic and giving back to the community.

But yet another reason to love this company. If more businesses followed spydercos model, we would live in a better world.

Cheers to Sal, Eric and the spydercrew for all they do :applouse:

I am always pleased to buy product from an ethical company, which is one of the reasons that I buy so many Spyderco knives.

Amen. Life's too short to suck ..... whether it's as a company or as people. Sal and Eric and co. are good people, plain and simple. Their knives aren't "my" cup of tea, but I ALWAYS recommend a Spydie or Byrd to anyone looking for a high-quality, modern one-hander.

Yep, some of the best people in the knife world IMO, and a big reason why I buy from them. And like mnblade, I also recommend Spyderco when someone ask about a quality one-hander.

I saw this info in my new Spyderco catalogue. I like buying knives from a company that gives back to the community. Well done Spyderco.

Spyderco are "conspicious good guys". I still have a very nice letter from Mrs. Glesser that she sent with the Native I received during my first deployment. John
