What Grit is it???

This is my main stone, i have no idea what grit it is. The course is good for re-profiling and the fine can whittle hair easily Its a 175th anniversary norton indian oilstone. On the side it says 'IB-8' 'Made in America' Sooo what grit do you think it is?

I wouldn't be able to tell... Specs say "coarse and fine," so I'm guessing something around 300 for coarse and something around 600 for fine. If you have any sandpaper handy, compare with that.

Norton grits on that stone are 150 for the coarse and 320 for the fine . DM
