What handle should I put on this, PART II

You must have a warehouse full of neat stuff! Does your Will involve stocking one wing of a technology museum someday? Problem with putting handles on NOS heads is they take up much more drawer or cabinet space and they detract from the actual head itself. I wouldn't doubt that you also solicit for NOS handles.
 
The ONLY suitable handle for that axe is one hand hewn of Oregon big leaf maple grown in Maple Valley, WA. Lucky for you, you have a friend who lives there.
