I haven't been here in a while (I mostly read) this place was full of life. Is it slow right now or is this place just slow all the time?
 
I think it's a certain amount of angst ... waiting for the 'new knife.'

Which is due any time now.

That was the reason I stopped coming around. The suspense of waiting and waiting gets old. Enthusiasm wanes and turns to frustration.
 
I'm watching ;) but i am also frustrated by the few and far releases from the swamp......my credit card however is ecstatic,the pace and fury of Busse lately has really beaten the sheeeet out of it.
 
We've got a TON of INFI stuff come out in the last year. Look back 2 years prior - it seems like an INFI fire hose. AD's, end of the GW's, Ganza extreme, SAR5, SARQ, NMFBM, NMSFNO, etc.,

So the focus has been there for a while. I remember waiting FOREVER for the FBM's. Getting stuck with the Scotch Dispenser just for Jerry to catch up. I think it's a matter of balance.

In the "good old days," it seemed like you'd get 1-2 releases a year. That was it. We've been spoiled a bit, I think. Also, the demand is outstripping the supply. I'd like to see it go back to an order/deliver system instead of "they are here, good luck getting one" system that is prevalent now. But that's just my opinion.

Finally, I'm shocked at the quality of blades that came out this year and NOT ONE PIC. In fact, I'm headed back to the main SR page to ask WHO HAS THE CUSTOM-HANDLED BLADE-ISSUED HAIRY CARRY'S!!!!! Where are the scorers??? Even in quiet times, the Busse forum pulls out a pile of old blades to drool over. ????
 
Perhaps the smell of fresh-baked Res C over at the Scrap Yard lured a bunch of them away?
 
Maybe they are furiously manufacturing big beautiful Ratchetes night and day. . . yes, that must be the answer. . . RATCHETES!
