I remember when I first seen em, they were pretty novel, and for a decent price. Now, hes got these plain 6 inched blades for 150 bucks and over. C'mon man. They're old files, with some handle slabs riveted on. What gives? Did the old used file prices go up somewhere and I not notice?

I don't know if their prices have gone up or not, but they definitely changed around their website. The main product list at their website was their standard models with laminated wood handles, and prices on those ranged from something like $18 to $75. But I can't find those 'basic' knives on their new website...

They've always had more expensive knives too, with nicer handle materials and more varied designs. But they were often listed at a seperate website, like a Yahoo Group web page or something. That was a real PITA.

Maybe they're not done with the website? Or maybe the 'basic' knives didn't sell well and the more customized knives sold better...

There has been a price increace this year, that's no surprize cost of living and the cost of business has gone up for everyone.

I've gotta get around to trying a couple this year. They still seem very reasonably priced, made in the US, and have a good reputation.

Might order me one or two up today, infact....:D
