I used to have a standard procedure:
1. Buy a Busse.
2. Reprofile to convex edge
3. Use and enjoy
4. Strop as desired.
Then, Garth began making Custom Shop knives with convex edges. So:
1. Buy a Busse.
2. Reprofile rather obtuse convex edge to more acute/sharper convex edge
3. Use and enjoy
4. Strop as desired.
But the last 2 Busse knives I have purchased have strangely perfect convex edges! So, for my Blade 2014 Team Gemini, and Comp finish SOB w/finger grooves:
1. Buy a Busse.
2. Use and enjoy
3. Strop as desired.
What happened???
