What happened to Dr. Lathe's "Super Commander"???

I got an e-mail from neil several weeks ago, stating that he dropped the project and gave it to reese weiland. Did someone hear something from reese?
 
I remember reading a post to that efeect, but have heard nothing else about it since. :confused:

Right after the Guild Show, I Emailed everyone on the Commander list regarding the project. I spoke to Reese Weiland at the show he said he would be glad to do the framelock modifications.

Time demands from my full time job got to the point where I could NOT deliver the knives as expected. I didn't take any deposits for the conversions and once again I apologize for any inconvenience this has caused.

I dropped Reese an e-mail , and he quickly responded that he was indeed picking up the frame lock Commander project. To date, however, he's only received one knife for the conversion. I guess a lot of people have dropped off.

I'm really suprised at that. I had 14 rather solid verbal commitments with MANY follow up Emails. I thought that when Reese agreed to handle the conversions they would take off. Maybe once he finishes the first one, we can get the picture posted and get the ball rolling again??

I thought that you mailed me that Reese will contact the people which had one on order with you!
