What happened to Ghurka House Khukuris?

I would imagine that the reason that their forum is no longer here is that it had basicly stopped being used. The moderators had not posted in months and it was a dead issue.

As far as I know, Gurkha House is no longer in business. I think it was shut down quite a long time ago.
 
Really?? Holy crap...that's the original reason I signed up here a few years ago...then I got interested in other forms of knives and been here every since;)

Too bad they shut down though.

If you are still interested in Khukris then the Himalayan Imports forum has all kinds of great information. A really good bunch of people there as well.
 
GH made decent kukris but for only little bit more you could get Himilayan Import- one of the few instances in our knife world where performance increase was substantial not incremental for relatively small difference in price. If HI were much more expensive than GH could capture "lower end" or "new user" market, however HI's prices are low enough to appeal to newbies and experienced users alike.
