Anyone know what happened to Junglee? I have a fixed blade one with Aus8 steel that I really love but can't find a pic of another just like it.. My father also has one with stag handles can't find one like it either.. Just wondering what happened to them?

Junglee is owned by the family that owns the Grizzly tool brands and a few others. They had a knife sales company called "Gorilla and Sons" during the 90's - early 2000's, that sold the brand as a house brand, and later bought the Gutmann Cutlery import company. After a certain point, they phased out most cutlery sales, and shut down Gorilla and Sons to concentrate on the tool business. They still have some left overs from those days that they sell off here and there -

Thanks man! I was wondering why grizzly still had some of them in the book.. They were great knives shame they stopped making them here's a pic of ours..

Yeah, they had a few different lines, but a lot of their stuff was made by some of the top Japanese makers. Hattori made a few, whoever was Blackjacks early 90's subcontractor made a few more, etc....

You have some good ones. Junglee was started in 1985 by Shiraz Baliloa who also owned/owns a number of
machinery and tooling companies as well as the old Guttman name. He contracted with top Seki Japan makers
G. Sakai, and in the early 90s, Hattori. Later Junglee moved production from Japan to Taiwan, and these later
ones aren't as highly valued by collectors.
