What happened to the UMFAAN?

I am just wondering. It seemed like such a wonderful knife. I asked this same question in another forum and they said it is being redesigned. Does anyone know when it will be in production again? I wants one!!

I was able to speak with Anne about the Umfaan at the Blade show. She told me that the new Umfaan will happen. She was unable to give me a definite time frame though. They have been very busy with the sudden popularity of the Green Beret and the Mnandi that the Umfaan is on the back burner but it is not forgotten. I'm sure our patience will be well rewarded.
