What Happened to the Whisper?

This may have been addressed in a thread I haven't read, so if I should have used the search function, pardon me. But what happened to the Kershaw Whisper? Has it been dropped? Delayed?

I would love to have one, but no information has been forthcoming.

The Whisper is still waiting in the wings. Kershaw has decided to shift production of this knife from US to Japan, where they can manufacture it at a lower price point than they had originally expected.

Not that there is anything wrong with this, but I'm getting tired of all the low cost Onions coming out.....it's definitely time they put out a high end Onion model again.

I too would like to see a high-end Onion, but I would like to see it in something besides CPM 440V. VG-10, for instance. With the Chive's thin blade and edge geometry, the fine grain of VG-10 would take a whale of an edge.
