This AM I had some email from forumites telling me they could not access the forum. I tried and couldn't access it either. Anybody know why or what happened?

At any rate it looks like we are back in business again.

Or someone's partner tried to prevent his/her spouse from buying more HI Khukuris. Now it might be my chance to get one of those blems (I really don't consider them 'blems', they're perfect khukuris to me)...
 
There was a computer virus on the loose Thursday. Perhaps the site got hit and needed a good cleanning.

Well, only if you are running Windows as your OS. 10% of new computers sold are running Mac OS and they are totally immune. We'll just sit back and watch the Windows people run around just like we did last year when they had Melissa. And the funny thing is, I've had Windows people get really mad when I tell them that Macs aren't affected. They think either I'm lying or I'm wrong. OS X comes out this summer!
 
I'm running Win 95 -- that's what this computer came with but I've been lucky or careful. Had only one small virus in two years. Had to delete most everything to get rid of it and reload a lot of stuff but essentially was able to save almost everything. The virus had been hiding in some remote subroutine and for some reason had not been activiated. I was lucky enough to find it and get rid of it before it did any damage.
