I bought a Huntsman plus last week. Been EDC'ing it and fell in love all over again with the SAK. I have bought 5 SAK's this week including 3 Alox models. One hand trekker NS, Outrider, Black Alox Pioneer, Olive Green Alox Cadet and Silver Alox Farmer. Wish the Orange and Blue Alox didn't cost an arm and a leg and I am already jonesing for a red alox cadet.

Anyone willing to provide room and board for me when my wife starts asking why the Fed ex guy is making daily trips to our house?

When I go to a big knife store not looking for anything in particular, I always seem to walk out the door with a SAK and perhaps some Vic kitchen knives.

It's all these dang enablers on this forum and a couple others....my wife has threatened to password my iPad so I can only use it while she's here to watch over me.....lol.

Time to buy her a pink Classic!

Just make sure they send a handsome fedex guy and she won't complain.

These are just the alox models I have picked up so far.

SAK Guy, he's the Mephistopheles when it comes to all things Swiss, and Army, and knife...enfant terrible if you ask me.:D

That's how it starts. I bought a silver farmer to replace my old US knife I lost and next thing you know you have 5 then 12 then you think you need two of every model ever made and color.:D

lol yep, I am up to 17 SAK's in like 3 weeks. I just keep telling my wife, hey be happy they are cheaper than Benchmades

Hey, not only are they cheaper than Benchmades, they are a hundred percent more useful. You can't use a Benchmade to fix the clothes drier, fix the vacuum cleaner, replace a light switch in the wall, Open a cold brewski, make another hole in the belt if you loose some weight, or gain a few pounds, replace the front door knob and lock assembly, pick out a thorn from the between the dogs paw pads, or a splinter from you finger, open a can or chili, make a starter hole for a wood screw, saw off a section of PVC pipe, or many other things.

The Benchmade is just a knife. The SAK is a bundle of solutions for some of lives everyday problems.
