So as the title says, what have you guys/gals created with your Beckers? Have you used it to build a shelter? Create a fine meal for friends or family? Is it used in small projects or has it become vital in your daily chores?
Also, what have you destroyed with your Becker.... after all, destruction is a perfect excuse to have to rebuild and refresh. Have you used your Becker to tear out cabinets in a kitchen remodel? Ever ripped apart old furniture to use as kindling in a bonfire?
I just recently picked up a BK24 in D2 from Tomar's (excellent pricing and super fast delivery) and since have had it close on hand while at work. My job can have its busy streaks and the occasional slow spots, sometimes the down time is much needed and appreciated. So anyway, I have a nephew on the way and I figured with my little bit of free time, I would carve him a small bear out of a block of basswood. When all was said and done, my fiance decided that it would be better suited for a friends baby shower this weekend, and that I could carve another one for my soon to come nephew.
All of the carving on this was done with the Eskabar, it served to be very functional and well suited for my needs. I certainly wouldn't consider myself an artist, but I think this turned out... decent.
This "Eye" was unintentional, it is a knot in the wood and it didn't reveal itself it was there until i dug deeper.
I'm interested to see what you all have built or destroyed!
