So then I started to buy some cheap knives off Flea-bay...like for few bucks a piece & ended up with more than 10. Then I started searching and found you guys Blade forum. After some learning my first few purchase was KERSHAW these:

Then I just sent out my SUPERLEAF to RYAN of RV customs...

MAN....what have you done to me BF?

That's nothing - where are the Hinderers, Striders, Chris Reeves, and customs?

It starts with production knives and moves north from there.

I would give my eye teeth to go back to the days of my collecting where a new Spydie or Benchmade scratched the itch.

Now it's mid tech or higher - and the game gets expensive to play.

You are doing alright.

Wait until you are down to eating Ramon noodles 7 days a week, walking to work because you can't buy gas and the wife left because there is no money for her anymore...

Then you are getting close... LOL

Toyz--you stole the words from my mouth and the feelings from my heart and placed them squarely in this sentence.

Boy did Toyz hit the nail on the head lol.

That's exactly how it starts, but I love every second of it!!

I started out many years ago with SAKS and then some cheaper knives.

And I'll still buy Production knives, but most if my purchases are higher end knives(CRK, Les George, Kirby Lambert, Les Voorhies, Alan Harvey, Southpaw, Etc).

Trust me once you start looking to cut back on many things just so you can purchase a new knife you want, that's only the beginning lol.

But I LOVE my knives!!!

:D

You are not doing terribly bad.
My last sub $200 knife was the Enlan EL-02B which I gave away and didn't plan on keeping. Mostly as a curiosity toy.

The Sebenza and some customs have been the reason why I end up shelling a lot of money for knives.

Next up a William Henry but for now I am taking a break as I catch up with priorities.

attention knife dealers and online traders: get this man's name and likeness. do not sell him knives, or anything else, with lanyard holes. :D

estate4life, nice little collection you've got going on there. Now you've got to branch out into flashlights, guns, fast cars and faster bikes. :D
I think those Grimsmo scales are beautiful.

Great start to your collection! Besides the two Grips, what are the other three Benchmades?

they are choice.oh and by the way....mwaahhaahaa(sinister laugh)
