What have you put your S45VN through and how did it fare?

I come from S30V sebenza’s and ordered an inkosi with S35VN last year. The S30V was great for its time and still is. The S35VN is also great but a day at work of cutting tape and some cardboard and it needs a stropping. My other S30V blades fare a bit better but of course you get ease of sharpening with CRK. I have a Sebenza 31 on the way with S45VN and I was curious what you all have put it through and what was the end result?

I saw and even posted in that thread, but it was asking for comparisons between 35 and 45. I’m more so curious what you’ve asked of the steel and how it held up.

Unfortunately, I’ve yet to own a CRK in S45VN.
The Spyderco and Spartan I have seem to perform well. Don’t know what the difference in HT is though

Impact work aside you won’t damage the edge unless you hit some metal or ceramic when cutting. The edge didn’t get damaged from batoning but the ceramic ball will dent the lockface on the blade.
