As a result of the years of below ave. rainfall, this dam is down to about 6% capacity.Nice lookin fish
Looks like that lake was dried up at some point? It looks cool as hell with the cracked bottom surface.
I was too busy at the start of each fish to film...Nice video Mick! I'm doubly impressed as you were filming too!
I didn't weight them but my guess is the biggest weighed around 12 pounds (that's it in the first pic). The knife in the picture is the Fallkniven F2, which measures 21 cm (little over 8 inches) to help provide a scale for the size of the fish (no pun intendedFly fishing for carp sounds like great sport. Whats the biggest you caught?
They were fairly easily spooked on Saturday, so instead of the brightly coloured saltwater streamers that I normally use, I was using a olive mudeye pattern.Very impressive! I've got a 5wt and a river full of carp near my house... but never seem to have any success. What fly pattern were you using?
All classics :thumbup:.... I recommend 'The Castle', 'Danny Deckchair', 'A Man's Gotta Do' and 'The Man Who Sued God' (and others).
...i bet that was a lot of fun..![]()
