The 2nd from the right is the bread knife....more scalloped than serrated.

You've got to let me know how you like the bread knife. I've been thinking of adding it to my Shun collection but not sure if I want to spend that kind of loot just yet on a knife I'll rarely use.

What is that blade with the small serrations - kind of looks like an all around utility blade. I've never seen that one before.

My bad, on the pic it looked satin finish, I thought those were Elites.
Nice catch still, even if for the wife, as long as she uses them for cooking

That bread knife, have you tried using it?Any better than normal designs, I mean the handle/blade height ratio.

I've used the bread knife a couple of times and it works great. It took a little getting used to at first.

Actually...I'm the cook...which is why she bought me the knives.

The bread knife doubles as a carving knife as well so if you have a need for both then you're all set.

The small serrated knife is a 6'' serrated utility. I've been using it as a bang around knife...where I wouldn't use a plain edge.
