What I Like About the BK2

It looks like something usable. I carried it around all day the other day. I used the flat butt pommel of it to drive the legs of a spinning .22 target in the ground. I used it to chop some 1" branches off a tree for a shooting lane. Later that day I sliced some summer sausage and cheese for hors-d'œuvres to have with Margaritas. Just for a test I tried to slice the stuff as thin as possible. It did OK. Hack through a deer's pelvic bone? You betcha.

I like the relative shortness of it, sheathed it does not get in your way when setting or moving around. I'm enamored with the 1/4" thick blade.... what a great tool. Its a survivalists dream.

I'm glad I came here before buying such a knife, y'all put me straight on the Becker over the Esee.

You will never go wrong with a Becker
 
just bought my first, a BK2 as well, and it's a beast. I was just saying it will last longer than I will in life. lol
