So I've been working on an assignment for 17hrs and need some diversion. In your experience/opinion what is that knife that all knife knuts would want to own/hold/ or at least see at one point in their lives? Which one would you say is worth the most and has perhaps even developed a little bit of myth and lore around it?

I guess to narrow the question down a bit further, I'm looking for non-historical knives as their age in its self would add value. What I'm looking for here is a knife that was made with premium material, by an amazing knifemaker who then either stopped making knives, vanished or died thereby skyrocketting the value of his work.

Does such a thing exist? Or do I really need to take a nap :o ?

Yes, you need a nap.

As to the question, I would have to say: Scagel, and the Spear of Destiny. Oh, and Jim Bowie's original knife.

Sincerely,
Anthony
