Not saying I found the one, but looking over what I have I'd say it's got to be here somewhere. :D


Really, if you keep chasing the flavor of the month you'll never find it... but then again that's half the fun :D


Pretty hard to top a SuperTinker for my "Real World" uses. The scissors and screw driver are just so dang handy when you need them... Top that off with the small and med blade that slice like crazy and you have a EDC superstar.

All that utility for $30.... Why do we do it?







We have some screws loose, that's why! :D

(feel free to post pics of your cheapie EDC superstars!) under $50 would be best :D
 
As much as I like SAK's there not the one for me and unfortunately the one for me costs more than $50. My "one" is a LH millie but I think you know about that knife too ;)

Closer to the requirements though would be my Delica "wave" it just one of those really great utility designs.

We are on the same page Solo. Carried this beauty today. Now,

Todays lessons:

1. When opening everything on a SAK because you just HAD to take a picture for a thread, the backsprings can get very stiff for one reason or another.

2. You want to open the blades last, so when your dealing with the springs, you don't slip onto that small blade you just sharpened an hour ago. Ouch.
 
I haven't found "the one". I doubt I ever will.

The Victorinox Hiker has been my EDC for a year now. The JK Anniversary EDC joined it in my pockets 6 months ago.:thumbup:

I fact I haven't bought a knife for myself since that JK showed up at my door.:eek:
 
I buy many different knives, but always seem to go back to carrying a 110 on my belt.

This one cost $29.00 at SMKW back in the 1980's

I edc'd a Super Tinkerer for a good while but now I carry a Farmer Alox. The saw blade just comes in handy.
 
"The One" for my is a Vic Spirit mulitool . . .

. . . but that does not keep me away from "The Many.":D
