What Im carrying now

...well, not really but I did carry it into my office to photograph it.

Circa 1900 Aikuchi tanto 5 inch Unokubi Zukuri blade which is Mino Seki. Its unsigned. Fittings are rayskin and shakudo water buffalos. These were given as wedding presents in Japan. This one is papered.

Thought it might be something different. Hard to see all thats going on with the blade with this picture.

I will try to get a better pic in better light. Its a very interesting hada too..typical late late seki work. John Yumoto himself did the kantei and I have the origami.

Now, my shodai Tadakuni wak has a crazy hamon!
