I'm thankful for these badass micartas made by Oregon Fal'er. Wow. My pictures don't do these things justice.

Makes it a whole different knife.

OF, you have some mad skills and I am proud of these indeed. Can't tell you how much I appreciate them.

Also included in the box were a very nice gift for Mrs. T and this bad boy......

A big honkin' Cammy 9 blank from Derek H. I can't wait to wear out some belts on this bad boy. I'll post a progress report.
I'm blown TF away.

Damn guys, damn.

I took those on a S&R mission in early october looking for some missing bear hunters and I had to cut my way way through a huge blackberry thicket with those. I was fairly happy with them. Not a huge fan of orange though and I can't keep everything.

Lucky Dog!!!!!

I absolutely LOVE OF's scales that he makes!!!! You can't get much closer to factory with aftermarket scales than with his.

I can't wait to see what you're going to do with that 9 blank!!

Congrats bro!!

The nine blank was annealed so I went ahead and bit the ramp off and spit it in the toilet.

Oregon Fal'ers scales are the shiznit!
I hear he sprinkles magical "beard dust" in each new batch of micarta.
Nice score Trade.

You mean Derek finally mailed them?! I was able to see OF's skills at the gathering, very nice indeed!

Sweet scales! OF really does some great work from what I've seen. Rad blank too, now stop taking fugly pictures and take a belt or two to that bad boy :D

Thanks for all the kind words folks, I plan on giving these things away to folks who stick around and keep posting. In the past i've done random drawings and then of course someone gets the handles and we never see them again. I spend 8 to 10 hours on each one so I can't really charge for my labor selling them and folks don't wanna pay $100 plus for scales for a $80 knife. So I give them away. i just like to know folks are appreciating them. I've got a bunch on my work bench in process now and there are a few of the "old guard" who are on the list.

That's really a cool idea Oregon.
The "Old Gaurd" really are responsible for keeping the wheels greased on this forum.

Having seen them at the gathering, I can say Fal'er's work is impeccable!

Ditto. I saw some at the BeckerWest gathering. Sweetness indeed.

Those scales are awesome.

That's a nice score on the BK-9 blank, Trade. What kind of grind are you planning to do on it?

Well, I'm seriously considering pounding it into something similar to this...

There's enough metal there to do it and I really like this thing.

Holy Crap! That would be an amazing chopper. Dooooooo iiiiiiiiit.

I have a dream of getting a Cammillus 9 blank, FFGing it, and grinding a long, fully sharpened swedge on the spine. Similar to Devilpig's 9, but without the fullers. Maybe if a decently-priced 9 blank comes along someday...
