Every time I show someone my bigger Busse knives, this is the question I get.

What are your respones to this?

My Answer: In case I'm in the Redwood National Forest and need to make a canoe.

Actually I do use my Basic 9 quite a bit on camping trips to clear brush and well throw it at stuff.:D

"Everything"

In honour of the recently departed Chris Janowski:

I can-

• Field dress big and small game

• Quarter and butcher big and small game

• Sharp enough to gut a fillet fish

• Be able to slice free hanging large diameter hemp rope with a single slice

• Chop and carve hardwood

• Large and heavy enough to replace a hatchet

• Tough and wide enough to dig into the ground

• Strong enough to split large pieces of firewood by striking it with another piece of wood

• Hold an edge sharp enough to shave with

• Large enough for combat

• Lifetime guarantee

This was the list that got me to Busse.....and the one I use to 'splain "what the hell I'm gonna do with that..."

As I've said on other threads, I didn't get why anybody would want anything over 6". But, I now have a HH, and just took it out to feed on firewood, kindling and a 4" x 4" post. OMFG this thing is absolutely AWESOME! I do miss the SJT I traded for it, but will hopefully be looking @ a ST Ripper soon and a BA TAC eventually for EDC. Anyhow, my response would be "Any Damn Thing I Want!" :p

My friend asked me that. I said.....Anything I want:cool:. Though making a canoe is now on the list:D

Yea That's It in a nutshell...

Got to love Throwing Busse Knives.

I have thrown at least fifteen different models and four varients.

I only broke the tip on one, an A-2 Mean Street, and that was just the last 1/16th of an inch at the point, and that was pulling it out after inadvertently sticking it in a concrete slab under the carpet in my living room.

Edited cause livingroom is really two words

Big blades are for those days that you can say:

You call that a knife? …this is a knife:D
o yeah and everything else too
chop, cut, dig, wield violently over head, letteropener, static display etc etc..:D

"what do use that for???"

me: "cuttin' stuff...." i refuse to struggle with anything plastic...

them: "well, what about that long pointy one?"
me: "oh, that's my stabbin' knife.."
them: "why carry so many?"
me: "backup. ninja gorillas could come out of the ground at any time and try to kill me. i have to be able to defend knifeless people like you."

When I am asked that question I just show them some of my hunting pictures!

When you kill with a knife there is a reverance!

Cheers,
